1. Product Overview

The SCH1633-D01 launched by Murata Manufacturing is a 6-axis inertial sensor designed specifically for automotive applications, integrating three-axis gyroscopes and three-axis accelerometers, using advanced microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology. This sensor is designed with high performance, high integration, and cost optimization as its core, suitable for various scenarios such as autonomous driving (AD), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), inertial navigation, vehicle stability control, and camera and headlight adjustment. Its compact size (11.8mm × 13.4mm × 3.0mm) and lightweight design make it an ideal central inertial measurement unit (IMU) solution in automotive electronic systems.

2. Core advantages

Excellent performance: The gyroscope angle random walk is as low as 0.03 °/√ Hz, the zero bias stability reaches 0.5 °/h, and the accelerometer linearity is 0.06 m/s ², ensuring high-precision data even in harsh environments.

High integration: Built in orthogonal error compensation function, with axis orthogonality error less than 0.3 °, eliminating expensive calibration steps and simplifying system integration.

Safety and reliability: Compliant with AEC-Q100 Level 1 certification and ISO 26262 ASIL-B+safety standards (ASIL-D can be achieved through integration), equipped with over 200 internal monitoring signals, achieving comprehensive self diagnostic functions.

Time synchronization support: It has data ready output, timestamp index, and synchronization input functions to ensure time consistency with other subsystems of the vehicle, such as HUD and cameras.

Environmental adaptability: The working temperature range is -40 ° C to 110 ° C, meeting the harsh conditions of automotive grade.
