# II. Functions

1. Wireless Power Transmission: Alternating current generates alternating magnetic field in the coil to deliver 5W power to the receiver side.

2. Magnetic Shielding: The bottom flexible ferrite suppresses magnetic field leakage toward PCB, reduces eddy current loss, improves charging efficiency and lowers heat generation.

3. Communication Coupling: Carries modulated signals of Qi protocol to complete handshaking, identity recognition and power negotiation between transmitter and receiver.
